Summer in the city can be brutal. August has brought with it a stifling heat wave that has lasted for weeks driving everyone, myself included, out of Brooklyn and onto the beach. Escape the heat with Blood Orange Margarita jello shots. Served in orange rinds, a mixture of silver tequila, triple sec, and refreshing blood orange San Pellegrino tastes just like summer and is the perfect way to enjoy booze on the beach…. just don’t drop them in the sand.
