My friend Kelly LOVES cake. So to commemorate her birthday this year I made this Jello Poke Cake. It is a basic white cake with holes poked in it and liquid jello poured in and allowed to set. Typically it is made with fruit favors, as this cake’s top layer is strawberry, but I wanted to try something different for the bottom layer. I used D’Gari pistachio gelatin dessert made with milk and it was creamy and delicious! The cake is frosted with whipped cream. (The recipe can be found on the Kraft Foods website.) Happy Birthday Kelly!
